DUCK Dashboard Guide
The Dashboard and Whiteboard update one another where required, avoiding repeated or duplicate entry.
Road test: Try the different components, complete assessments and case histories, move patients through the pathway and check what works or helps. Raise recommendations, complaints or issues in the temporary chat or by email to dashboard.1337@ducktool.uk.
Opening sections: Click a side tab to reveal its section and click it again to hide it. When a revealed section needs opening, click its top banner to expand or minimise the contents.
Fictional demonstration: All patient information is fictional. Explore and change the demonstration records freely; no real patient record or clinical system is affected.

Status Board. Shows the current status of each patient open to Mental Health Liaison Team services. Use it to change status and move patients through the pathway.

A&E Referral. Records referrals as they arrive and transfers them instantly to the Whiteboard on confirmation. Clickable choices reduce writing and capture consistent information for later service analysis.

Initial Greet and Patient Contact. Primarily supports HCA documentation. Completing Initial Greet automatically updates the Whiteboard to Awaiting Assessment. Patient Contacts are recorded for KPI reporting and later administration.

Summary and Plan. Summarises the assessment and agreed plan before the patient leaves. The plan carries forward into RiO, can be printed for the patient and copied into Maxims. Clickable choices reduce writing; detail can also be entered manually.

RiO Assessment. Replicates the full RiO assessment structure. Referral, Initial Greet and Summary and Plan information carries forward. Completed plain text can be copied into RiO without re-entering it.

Outstanding Tasks. Shows remaining actions for the patient plan and an overview of outstanding work across all patients.
WR
Ward Referral. Records ward referrals, priority and referral information, then adds them instantly to the Whiteboard on confirmation. Electronic referral automation may be added later.

Alerts, identity correction and Early Closure. Manage Alerts reviews recorded concerns. Information Correction provides an audited correction route for a patient's name, NHS number or date of birth without replacing their packet. Early Closure supports patients who leave before assessment.

KPI Reporting. Produces selectable reports from recorded demonstration activity.

Email examplesSome actions prepare email drafts for review. Not every route is connected yet, but working examples are included.
Referral form auto-fillSelected forms auto-fill most available information, leaving the clinician to check and complete the remaining fields.
Community ResourcesSelected information is added through the plan generator and can be printed or shared by text or email where local systems support it.
